Well, I have contacted the local bartending school. (There was only one. I swear there used to be a least 3!) I'm waiting for the email about applying and cost.

You don't need to pay to learn that crap. Those things are scams! You just need to get a job as a bartender and learn as you go. F that "school".

A-Ha! I wasn't going to join until I spoke to some bar managers and see if it makes a difference. I thought it might be a scam since I found out that you don't need to pass a test to get a license.

I honestly thought there was a test!
