It's in the cards
Aug. 10th, 2009 03:29 pmSunday was Tarot club at the Panera. There was a crowd of about 8 of us giving each other readings at a long table and chatting.
An older gentleman came up to us and asked what kind of card we were playing. We explained that they were Tarot and invited him to sit down. He asked us exactly what the cards told us, and Aimey and I both told him "What you already know."
I thought that was great! Another reader and I agree that there is no real fortune telling going on. The cards and their messages play to your self conscience and tell you what you already know, but need to be told by someone else.
J. also added that they sometimes tell you what you need to hear as well.
Also, if you are really confused about something and consult the cards, they won't tell you a damn thing.
